Hand-forged from Damascus steel, the 28 1/2” full-tang blade showcases more than 1,000 layers, revealing mesmerizing waves and swirls highlighted by an acid etching that adds dramatic contrast. The handcrafted tsuka is cloaked in genuine black ray skin and wrapped in soft tan ito, secured with traditional wooden mekugi, while the brass menuki adds a classic touch. Inspired by the revered Japanese macaque, the intricately detailed tsuba features two macaques perched in a tree, exuding an enchanting and earthy charm.
